Griechisches Restaurant Akropolis in Bad Koetzting

The Akropolis is a place where you feel welcome. The service always friendly, the food excellent and almost no waiting time. There is always an ouzo or dessert on the house. But what I particularly notice is the absolute cleanliness! There is nowhere dust or a cobweb, the toilets pikobello. No fingerprints on the table or menu ..! For me one of the best Greek restaurants in the large area. We like to come here and can recommend it without restrictions. Unfortunately, only street sales are currently possible. Of course, the atmosphere is missing when eating, but you can support the gastronomy a little here. Efkaristo!

My family and I have eaten there many times. The service is always friendly and even when there is a lot going on, you are served quickly. The absolute highlight is the manager, his open and friendly manner makes you feel really welcome. The food is of course very tasty and the portion size is completely sufficient. One of the best Greeks in the district of Cham!

Unfortunately, I can't rate this restaurant better as I have several criticisms. 1. You don't get an ouzo to greet you like I know from other Greek restaurants. 2. The salad as a side dish consisted mainly of green lettuce with a few carrot strips, cucumber pieces and a tomato slice. No taste sensation in connection with the dressing. With other Greeks you get sheep cheese, olives, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, peppers or paprika. I expect that from a Greek! 3. Some tzaziki is served in a potty with the meal (see photos from other reviewers). The amount served was just enough for the small amount of gyros. 4. Portion size rather something for the small hunger. Unfortunately, the prices are just as high as with better Greeks. 5. Despite Corona, we were not asked to leave names and telephone numbers. I thought that was mandatory. Now something positive: We were served immediately and our order was taken quickly. The waiting time for drinks and food to be served was short and the staff was very nice. The dish itself tasted quite good. Overall, not really bad, but with some room for improvement.

We were in this restaurant on 8/28/20 with 5 People. Never again ... Small portions, dry meat, too salty gyros, unflavored rice, burnt scampi, very few fries. , Tsatsiki from Aldi would have been great, salad was very tasteless, The whole view ... Expensive, small portions and the feeling of satiety had not set in. The best was my spouse and the friendly staff. A little suggestion to the cook .... Excellent food, We had the red peppers and the pita with tzatziki as a starter, meat skewers and the chef's plate, Unrivaled in the Cham district super nice service We were offered an additional digestif and we got two free desserts to try out. We were there on a Thursday evening. Hygiene and distance rules were observed. We will definitely be back. The way to Kötzting is definitely worth it.

We were here for the first time today and have not eaten so well in a long time. Meat and fish were on point. The fries and the gyros are really outstanding. After the main course, a greeting came from the kitchen. When we had already paid, the boss brought a dessert that we should try ... It was very good like the rest. The service also deserves praise, always on the ball without being intrusive. Very clear recommendation !!!! We will be back!

I like to read the negative reviews: yes, it's true, the salad is not very Greek, but otherwise: the staff is very friendly, the portions are more than sufficient and, above all, tasty, the waiting time is short (ok, there wasn't much today go, but there were three rounds of ouzo - on request). All in all: my recommendation if you are tired of the good Bavarian food.

Hello, this restaurant has lost on almost every point. At first not enough cards were delivered - then 3/4 drinks came - then the starter came spread over a period of 10 minutes until the 4th drink was wrongly delivered ... then the main course came ... 3/4 dishes were almost correct delivered with one exception. When the 4th in the group complained after 10 minutes (after the first three had finished eating) after another 10 minutes the last dish came ... Drinks were reordered and delivered and the table was always full of empty glasses (were not taken). It deserves a star - as far as the taste of the food is concerned = really TOP (excluding fries) PS .: if you have the time and feel like an experience then you can visit the shop!

Wanted to eat there on Sunday 2.8.2020. According to Google, the restaurant should be open. OK, called there to reserve a table. It was just the answering machine. Then I thought that there is probably a lot going on and no one has time to answer the phone. So I went there to read on the door that I was on vacation for two weeks. You could tell the guests something like that on the answering machine!

Hammer, Seldom eaten so well Greek. The service was the nicest and most accommodating you can imagine. Special requests were not a problem and the obligatory Uzo was also included We will be back definitely.
